Worship Team Interest Form — First Baptist Church Orange

THE PROCESS

After you complete the Worship Team Interest Form, a member of our worship leadership will review your information and follow up with next steps. As part of the discernment process, you will be asked to select two songs from a provided list, record yourself performing them in your primary role (vocals and/or instrument), and submit those recordings for review.

These recordings are not about perfection or studio-quality production. They help our worship leadership assess musical ability, preparation, and overall fit for serving on the team. They also allow us to steward the process well and provide consistency for everyone who expresses interest.

Because serving on the Worship Team is a leadership role within the church, submitting an audition does not guarantee placement on the team. In some cases, we may recommend further development or a different serving opportunity that better aligns with your gifts at this time. Our desire is to honor God, serve the church faithfully, and care well for both individuals and the team.
