first Journey is a worship service
designed for those who want something different. It may have been a long time since
you went to any church or you may just want to experience a worship service with music
that is more your style. If this is true, then first Journey

first Journey uses a contemporary worship
style to remove barriers from those people who have become skeptical of traditional
churches and traditional worship services. The name first Journey
was chosen because it is an invitation to people in our community to take the first steps
of a journey to a church(or, in some cases, back to church), to Christ, and to a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ

first Journey is open to anyone.
It is our desire that everyone will invite their neighbors, work associates, and family to
attend first Journey. We especially want to target the unchurched and those who might be intimidated by a traditional
church worship service.

For those who wish to attend first Journey, we ask for Four
Commitments:
| A committment to attend: be in attendance at first Journey
at least 90% of the Sundays for one year. |
| A commitment to serve: agree to take a job. |
| A commitment to invite: be a walking, talking advertisement for
first Journey. |
| A commitment to Pray: be a part prayer team of the first
Journey prayer team. We can plant and water, but only God will bring
the harvest. |

- We also need people who will make their service to make friends with guests, invite them
out to eat, get involved with their lives, and share Christ with them.
