What is Upward Basketball?
Upward is a first-class sports experience that emphasizes healthy competition, sportsmanship, skills building and fun versus the “win-at-all-costs” mentality found in many children sports leagues. Upward Basketball is open for children, Kindergarten & grades 1-6.
Children learn more about God and basketball throughout the season. Our Upward basketball league is open to any child in our community. All 8 games are played at First Baptist Church as are the practices. Your child’s team will have only a one hour practice each week. We would love to have you on our team!

Upward Camp
During the summer we will offer a one week summer camp. You will have the opportunity to improve your basketball skills under the leadership of our Upward Coaches. We have morning and afternoon sessions. Each day consists of scrimmages, skill stations, devotionals, testimonies and snacks. Each participant receives a t-shirt, basketball and other prizes. We hope you can join us. Space is limited for this camp.
