While you attend First Journey, preschoolers are given the opportunity to take a "First Look" at the Bible and their loving heavenly Father. Through exciting activities and crafts, a dynamic Bible story and worship time, our goal is to help children master one concept at a time by creatively repeating a key concept throughout the month in a way that it will stick.
First Look is designed to help a child, by age five, to believe:
- God made me.
- God loves me.
- Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Potty trained two-year olds through pre-k four and five year olds are invited to attend this exciting event each week!
Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Come join us for our Egg Hunt at 2:00pm on April 3rd. The event will be held at our MLK property about 3 miles north of Interstate 10.
In addition to the egg hunt, we will have activities for the children, such as bounce houses, face painting, crafts, snacks, and some entertainment.
There will be some eggs in the hunt that will offer special prizes for those who find them. Also, everyone in attendance will have the opportunity to win some bigger prizes through a drawing. These prizes include a portable DVD player, Nintendo DS Lite, Toys R Us gift cards.
The event is for toddlers through 6th grade. We look forward to seeing you there!
